Are you a passionate front-end developer with a knack for building intuitive and powerful user interfaces? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can make a real impact on the future of software engineering?

What we do

CodeScene is a trailblazing company specializing in Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI). Or, simply put, we help companies identify and prioritize technical debt, fighting bad code in the process. CodeScene’s back end and analysis capabilities are built with Clojure. We use React and TypeScript for our UI, and run CodeScene on AWS.

How we operate

At CodeScene decision making and effectuation is characterized by a rapid pace. As a developer, you'll find yourself engaged in tasks beyond conventional boundaries. This might encompass delving into adjacent realms through research and self-education, spanning areas such as machine learning, code analysis, version management, and parsing techniques. Adaptability and flexibility are qualities that are not just valued but essential.

Why you will love it here

Our distributed team uses a hybrid model, where we work seamlessly from both office space and home setups. It's crucial to possess the comfort level and self-discipline needed to effectively work from home, but also actively participate  and enhance our office ambiance. We don’t do any Scrum: no sprints, no time-consuming estimation games, no scrum masters. Instead we try to keep meetings to a minimum, meaning you will be able to spend most of your time on interesting problems and writing code. You also get to deliver to production continuously.

What you'll be doing

Shape the Future of CodeScene

In this role, you will be developing the frontend for our core product. Your work will involve crafting a robust UI framework that serves as the foundation for our user interfaces. Additionally, you will bring our AI-driven services to life by designing and implementing engaging and intuitive frontends that provide a seamless and enriching user experience.

Collaborate and Innovate

As a member of our close-knit engineering team, you will collaborate closely with product management, UX specialists and our analytics team. This partnership is crucial to our success, as it ensures that we deliver exceptional user experiences. Your contributions will be integral to our team's efforts to continuously innovate and improve our products .

Push the Boundaries

Work with cutting-edge technologies to create state-of-the-art user interfaces.
