AI speed, but at what risk?
Opening the System Verification and CodeScene AI series, a panel of CEOs, CTOs, and board members unpacks why deploying agentic development keeps getting filed as an "engineering problem", and what that costs. Through the numbers and KPIs, they make the case for who should own AI validation, and how to act.

About our speakers
Hamdija Jusufagic
CodeScene's CEO Hamdija Jusufagic brings a diverse background in leadership, technology, company culture, and corporate social responsibility. He has received several prestigious awards in Sweden, including HM King Carl XVI Gustaf’s "Årets Nybyggare." Mr. Jusufagic has founded and led multiple successful IT and consulting companies, including System Verification, CodeScene, and REEINVENT—with a strong international presence and a focus on innovation, business impact, and digitalization.
Burak Karakan
Burak Karakan is the co-founder and CEO of Bruin, an AI-native data platform that unifies data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. A Berlin-based software engineer and former engineering manager at HelloFresh, he built Bruin out of years of frustration with the fragmented modern data stack, championing integrated, auditable systems over sprawling multi-tool setups. Mr. Karakan is an outspoken voice on the reality behind data and AI tooling, having argued publicly that abstraction and "no-code" don't remove complexity, they hide who's doing the real work and strip away the visibility needed to govern it.
Peter Caron
Peter Caron is a technically-oriented CEO and CTO who specializes in helping growth-stage companies recover from technical debt, ineffective development practices, and poor performance. He is currently CEO of 3T Software Labs and a board member of both CodeScene and System Verification. Mr. Caron also mentors technical leaders across Italy, Germany, and Poland, and is writing a book on the leadership challenges facing tech companies. Outside of work, he is a voracious reader with a passion for history.
Daniel Webb
Daniel Webb specializes in transforming engineering performance by improving the health, structure, and behavior of software systems, helping teams deliver faster and more predictably while reducing the hidden costs of technical debt. A coach, mentor, and strategic advisor whose background spans CTO, Principal Engineering, and Head of Test roles, Mr. Webb is a CodeScene consulting partner focused on the impact of AI on software delivery, using CodeHealth analysis and safeguards to show organizations how agentic development can be adopted safely and scaled.
