Our story
It all started with an idea...
Revolutionary Book
In 2015 Adam Tornhill published the book Your Code as a Crime Scene. The book has revolutionized the industry’s view on software systems and introduced a new approach to software analysis.
Hotspot Concept Adoption
Since the book, Adam has presented his ideas in conferences around the world, standardizing the concept of the "hotspot" in the software industry.
From Book to Product
CodeScene, was born out of the need to fully explore ideas from the book and actually put them into practice. Today, It enables software organizations to increase their delivery efficiency and is used by companies around the world. Independent studies have confirmed that CodeScene is the best tool for managing technical debt.
Our values
The core values behind everything we do
Innovation
Our customers are often driving forward their industries and are constantly iterating. They need to be able to trust that we are at the forefront of addressing the challenges that come with being pioneers.
Collaboration
We've done the research, and we know it well; teams that work together get farther faster. Whether you're a planner, a doer, an analyzer, or something in between, everyone has a role to play.
Inclusion
The best ideas consider many angles. Silos and gatekeeping have no place in product development and software engineering, nor do they within our company.
Transparency
We believe that with transparency comes context, understanding, and meaning. It's vital to our organization, and underscores the insights we offer customers inside our product.
