Lydia Nicoll, Chief Marketing Officer,

CodeScene's team is happy to announce the appointment of Lydia Nicoll as our new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Lydia has a remarkable track record of driving growth, and being recognized for her outstanding contributions to marketing, operations, product led growth and strategic development across various B2B SaaS companies.

Lydia has almost exclusively worked with B2B software and developer tools which makes her a perfect fit for CodeScene. She brings over 12 years of experience to our company, and a fierce drive to disrupt and excel CodeScene's growth in the field of software engineering intelligence.

As CMO, Lydia Nicoll will be responsible for redefining CodeScene's marketing strategies, capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the industry, and positioning CodeScene as the thought-leader and disrupter in the field of software analysis. With a product-led approach, Lydia aims to harness the power of data-driven insights and innovative technologies to enhance the user experience and build brand loyalty.

“I'm thrilled to be joining such a competent and driven team that has such a unified vision and love of the product. There is huge potential here and we're well positioned to create real value for our customers and disrupt the market.”

Strong background in Developer Marketing

Lydia's recent position includes  Weavy — a company which offers developers a unique SDK and API solution for in-app collaboration. As company's CMO she was responsible for overseeing company's marketing strategy and growing the product. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Nicoll has resided in Malmo, Sweden for over six years.

" I think developer marketing is definitely more challenging than other types of marketing I’ve done before, simply for the fact that I think the typical marketing sweet talk doesn’t really work so well on them. I find that we have to really let our technology do the talking. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. We have to be really knowledgeable and very transparent.

And I think that we are held to a higher standard, which is challenging, but also really enjoyable. I think it’s a very honest type of marketing. CodeScene is the type of product that speaks for it self, but I look forward to helping drive growth and brand awareness."

Welcome aboard Lydia, we are so happy to have you on our team!
