Privacy Principles for CodeScene AI Based Services
At CodeScene, we are firmly committed to protecting our customers' privacy. We adhere to industry regulations and employ state-of-the-art security technologies to ensure the highest level of data protection.
CodeScene’s AI based services incorporate privacy-by-design from the very outset together with secure defaults. That way, you can be confident that your data is handled securely without any risks of being exposed. We use carefully selected 3rd party AI service providers that adhere to our privacy principles.
Code Exclusivity
Our commitment to privacy ensures that your source code remains strictly confidential and is never shared with any other customers.
Secure Code Analysis
During the analysis process, CodeScene analyzes your code in transit without persisting it to any storage device. Only the minimal code snippets necessary for processing are fed to the automatic refactoring service, further minimizing the exposure of your sensitive data; we never send your complete codebase to an AI.
No Model Training
Your source code is never used to train or enhance the AI. This safeguard ensures that your code is solely employed for the specific purpose of analysis, not repurposed or diverted for other applications.
Code Ownership
Both the analyzed code and the refactored code generated by CodeScene belong to your company, ensuring that your code ownership is maintained.
Secure Technologies and Protocols
We employ industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure protocols, to protect your code during the analysis process. Your code is securely transmitted via HTTPS with TLS 1.2 and never stored on our servers. Moreover, CodeScene utilizes AES encryption to ensure top-notch security, protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Privacy and confidentiality are core values at CodeScene. We adhere to strict data protection regulations and are ISO27001 certified (the international Information Security standard).
